Following the success of ‘Pass on a Smile Day’ last year, Helen Perry from the Party Shop, High Street, Mold, has set the date for this year. Helen says that Mold is a very friendly, welcoming market town but in the present economic gloom it’s important to highlight the fact – so along with Mold 2000 business group, she’s asking ‘Proud to be independent’ shops to display a giant smiley face in their windows and hand out smiley faces to customers. The aim is for customers to then pass a smile on to other people in Mold and by the end of the day we’ll all be smiling.
